AMAZON PRODUCTS WE LOVE FOR MAX

Here are some of the products I’ve found on Amazon that have been really helpful:

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. This helps support Max's site

Harness

He’s still so small that he’s drowning even in a kitten leash, but this harness has worked the best so far!

I started with the XXS which is ok now, but I should have started with the XXXS size.

Retractable Leash

If you have a dog and don’t have one of these - it’s a MUST HAVE! It makes taking them on walks so easy - giving them slack and pulling them back when it’s not safe.

Puppy Pads

He’s still using these to get through the night until late morning. I open them up and stack them so that I can just wad up and throw away the top one every morning.

Crate

I keep this crate next to the side of my bed and drop him into it with the puppy pads on the bottom (they fit perfectly with the 24” crate. Super convenient when I’m too tired to take him outside and he doesn’t throw too much of a fit.

Puppy Food

This is the food Max’s breeder recommended. I’m currently mixing it wish fresh food that I get from PetSmart.

Treats

These treats have worked great for training him on commands and where to go potty :) I got chicken flavor.

Pig Ears For a Chew Toy

Max loves these and they get soft a chewy so there’s no risk of bone slivers or anything that could be a danger to him.

ABOUT BRUSSELS GRIFFONS

Where They're From
Brussels Griffons came from Belgium in the 1800s, originally bred to catch rats. Now they’ve become a popular, well-loved family pet.

What They're Actually Like
These dogs have huge personalities packed into tiny bodies. They're affectionate and playful, but they're also stubborn and demand attention. They'll follow you around like a shadow and genuinely want to be involved in everything you're doing. These pups are LEVEL 10 CLINGERS!

The Good Stuff
They're great for smaller spaces and adapt well to different living situations. If you like a dog that's entertaining and deeply bonded to you, they deliver. They're not high-energy chaos machines, they're more about quality time with you. They love people and are usually super social.

Real Talk
They need consistent, patient training because they know what they want and aren't always interested in what you want. Their coats need regular grooming. Their flat faces mean they struggle in heat and cold, so you have to be careful. They also hate being alone. This is a dog that wants to be with you 24/7!
